During
its June 23, 2006 meeting, the Presbyterian Homes of
Georgia
’s Board of Trustees unanimously voted to
develop a Continuing Care Retirement Community called Presbyterian Village Athens/Oconee in
Watkinsville
,
GA.
We are pleased to be providing the
Athens/Oconee area with the exceptional level of care and services that
Presbyterian Homes of
Georgia
has provided to retirees since 1949.
The 55 acre retirement community will be the first in the area to provide
a continuum of care for senior adults offering residential living
(cottages, cluster homes, apartments, and assisted living), as well as
skilled nursing care -- all in one neighborhood. Currently, the area
provides only segmented senior housing, assisted living and nursing care
with no continuum of services in one location.
Presbyterian Homes of
Georgia would like to thank the many Priority Depositors who committed
$1,000 refundable deposits to show their interest in this project.
These Priority Depositors will receive preference in accommodations and
will provide input on key points as the CCRC construction progresses.
