During its June 23, 2006 meeting, the Presbyterian Homes of Georgia ’s Board of Trustees unanimously voted to develop a Continuing Care Retirement Community called Presbyterian Village Athens/Oconee in Watkinsville , GA. We are pleased to be providing the Athens/Oconee area with the exceptional level of care and services that Presbyterian Homes of Georgia has provided to retirees since 1949.

The 55 acre retirement community will be the first in the Athens area to provide a continuum of care for senior adults offering residential living in cottages, cluster homes, apartments, and assisted living, as well as skilled nursing care -- all in one neighborhood village.  Currently, the area provides only segmented senior housing, assisted living and nursing care with no continuum of services on one campus.
